Jimmy DuPree, D.Min

 

Dr Jimmy DuPree serves as Senior Pastor of Faith Memorial Church

in Cleveland, TN.  Dr. DuPree is actively involved in care and

benevolence in both the local and international communities. He has

been involved in feeding programs, disaster relief, children and

maternity homes, and social issues that cross socioeconomic, racial,

and ethnic boundaries. In the local community, Dr. DuPree has been

actively involved in many social, educational, and medical endeavors

including; working with an ecumenical community to bring the RAM

(Rural Area Medical) clinic to Cleveland, TN, in addition to the Ronald

McDonald Mobil Dental clinic, and Good Samaritan weekly medical

clinic. Dr. DuPree is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God.

 

Dr. Jimmy DuPree served as President of Valor Christian College from 2012—2016, leading the institution in receiving both Accreditation and Title IV Federal Student Aid. Before that he served as the Instructor of Supervised Ministry and Care and Director of Student Services at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN. Dr DuPree also teaches Pastoral Ministry and Theology part-time at Lee University.

 

Dr. DuPree has also been involved in tutoring and mentoring programs. He has lectured and ministered in more than forty nations around the world, conducting Pastor’s and Leadership conferences throughout Africa, Asia and Central America. His international works include; founding New Life Children’s Home and New Life Bible College in Southern India. He is a past member of the Association of Theological Field Educators, serving on the Research and Publications committee; he serves on the Board of Directors for, the Chattanooga Area Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Partners for Christian Media, Outside the Gates Ministry, was an active member of the Hiawassee Chapter of the American Red Cross, a Community Service Chaplain, and Certified Trainer for Church of God Chaplains Commission. Dr. DuPree has served on several National and International Boards and Committees.

 

Dr DuPree has a Bachelor of Science from Lee University; and a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from the Church of God Theology Seminary. His dissertation is entitled Toward A Field and Leadership Based Contextualized Global Pentecost Ministerial Model.   

 

Jimmy and Cindy have three children, Anna, Samuel, and Zechariah.
